Services Overview:

Program Details:

The program is available to Bell residents who are 62 and older and persons with qualifying disabilities. The service is available seven days a week from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m. The Dial-A-Cab service will take registered participants to and from their destination within the City of Bell, including medical facilities (see below). The cost is .50 for each one-way trip, with a monthly maximum of 20 one-way trips. Participants must register for the program and get a photo ID from Bell Community Center located at 6250 Pine Avenue, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please bring an identification card and a utility bill as proof of age and Bell residency. Persons with disabilities will need to provide proof of disability. Cost for the photo ID is $5.00. For questions, please call (323) 773-1596.

LA Metro Bus Pass

Bell seniors 62 and older, persons with disabilities and students are eligible to buy their monthly bus passes at Bell Community Center for a subsidized rate. Bus passes are sold from the 25th of the current month to the 10th of the following month. Applications must be obtained at Bell Community Center located next door to City Hall, 6250 Pine Avenue in Bell, and sent to LA Metro.
